Spring fever as eager buyers push up prices

The first weekend of the Spring selling season produced increased auction numbers, large crowds, high prices and the now-standard 85 per cent clearance rate, with agents predicting the seasonal increase in auctions is likely to be easily absorbed by desperate buyers.
